For New Mums (Recipes for the first week into Confinement)

生化汤


12克 当归
8  克 益母草
4  克 川芎
2  克 炮姜
4  克 红花
4  克 桃仁
8  克 灸甘草
12克 桑寄生

Preparation:
1) Wash all ingredients briefly
2) Put herbs into a pot and add a litre of water.  Bring to boil over high heat, then simmer for 20 minutes.  Drink it in the morning on empty stomach for 2-3 days.  Do not drink for more than 3 days.

Benefits:
促进子宫收缩,排除恶露。补血化淤。促进乳汁分泌。不宜多喝。

 

黄酒猪腰

1  只 猪腰
20克 梅肉(切片)
10克木耳
20克姜片
100毫升 白米酒
100毫升 黄酒
3汤匙 麻油

腌料:生抽,胡椒粉,麻油,粟粉

Preparation:
1) Slice the kidney into two (from the centre).  Remove the white portion in the kidney.  Clean and lightly "pattern" it the knife (切花).  Then slice into smaller pieces. 
2) Rub 1 tbsp of white rice wine onto the sliced kidney, blanch in boiling water.  Then remove and soak in normal temperature water to remove the blood odor.
3) Marinate the kidney and meat for half hour.
4) Heat sesame oil, fry ginger till fragrant, add black fungus, meat and fry for a while.
5) Add in kidney, white rice wine, yellow rice wine to cook for a short while.

鲜香菇粒

10 粒 鲜冬菇
100克 鲍鱼菇
200克 瘦肉- 切粒
100克 老姜- 切片
3 汤匙 麻油

调味料:糖,生抽,白米酒,粟粉水

Preparation:
1) Heat up sesame oil, fry ginger till fragrant and crispy.
2) Add in meat dices, mushroom and abalone mushroom.
3) Season and thicken the gravy with cornflour water.

祛风,祛瘀,驱寒保温


姜蒸排骨

200克 排骨

调味料:(搅拌机搅碎)

100毫升 糯米酒
1 茶匙 麻油
100克 姜
适量盐

Preparation:
1) Clean the ribs and arrange nicely on a dish
2) Mix well the seasoning and pour over the prok ribs.
3) Steam for 30 minutes.

Benefits:
祛风,祛瘀,驱寒保温
